Founding Partner
John Aivazoglou
John Aivazoglou is a founding partner of Aivazoglou & Mikropoulos Law Firm. A 1984 graduate of Ridley High School, he went on to earn his B.A. from Cabrini College in 1988 and his J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1991. Licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 1991, John has devoted his career to advocating for clients with skill, integrity, and personal commitment.
​
He began his legal career in 1990 as a clerk with the Defender Association of Philadelphia, followed by serving as a judicial clerk in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia for the Honorable Judge Norman Jenkins in 1992. From 1993 to 1994, he worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Delaware County, where he gained valuable courtroom and trial experience.

In 1991, John co-founded Aivazoglou & Mikropoulos Law Firm, where he has concentrated his practice on civil litigation. His areas of focus include motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall injuries, premises liability, and workers’ compensation. With more than three decades of experience, John is known for his meticulous preparation, dedication to his clients, and proven track record in trial advocacy.

Outside of the courtroom, John is the President of Hellenic Hearts, a nonprofit organization he founded to support charitable causes close to his heritage and community. He also enjoys golf, basketball, and painting — passions that bring balance and creativity into his life.

Andrew Edelberg
Andrew has been a licensed Pennsylvania Attorney since June 1997, licensed by both the Pennsylvania Courts, Federal Third Circuit Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Federal Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He concentrates his practice in handling serious personal injury/motor vehicle collisions, workers compensation claims, and high-profile criminal defense matters. He is a 1986 graduate of Haverford High School, a 1990 graduate of Temple University with a major in Political Science, and an August 1994 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.
He teaches Continuing Legal Education Classes on the above subjects and often to Police Departments, Law Enforcement Agencies, and volunteers with the Philadelphia Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizen’s Academy and the Philadelphia Drug Enforcement Administration Citizen’s Programs, Drug Summits, and is requested as a motivational speaker. He has also served as a Lieutenant in the now retired Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Special Reserve Unit.

George Marinelli
Mr. Marinelli initially grew up in Upper Darby, PA and graduated from Upper Darby High School in the late 70's. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit School of Law. He has been a senior attorney at the Firm for twenty- five (25) years. Mr. Marinelli concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of personal injury and worker's compensation law. He is heavily involved with the Rose Tree Soccer Club for the last twenty-five (25) years, and volunteers and serves as a coach, and referee, in their intramural programs. Mr. Marinelli is also an active player in the league.

Matthew Cole
Matthew B. Cole, Esquire4 is a seasoned personal injury and workers' compensation attorney licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with over 20 years of dedicated legal experience. Since earning a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2003, he has built a reputation for aggressive advocacy and compassionate representation for injured workers and accident victims across the region.
A proud graduate of Drexel University, where he graduated cum laude in 2000, Matthew brings a strong academic foundation and a client-first approach to every case. Over the course of his career, he has successfully handled a wide range of injury claims—from complex workers’ compensation matters to serious motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases.

With over seven years of dedicated experience in personal injury law, Cote is a passionate and results-driven advocate for individuals who have been wrongfully injured. Licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, Cote has successfully represented clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and workplace injuries.

Lakisha Green has been employed at AM&E, LLC, as a dedicated and experienced Paralegal and Office Manager, who has built a strong foundation in legal support, administrative leadership, and office operations for over 23 years. She attended Chester High School where she received her High School Diploma and furthered her education at The PJA School, where she received her Associates Degree in Specialized Paralegal Studies. Her dual role has allowed her to manage daily office functions while providing reliable support to the attorneys and staff in various areas. Kelly Ann
Kelly Ann has been employed as a paralegal and trial associate at Aivazoglou & Mikropoulos, LLC since 2015. She attended Sun Valley High School and furthered her education at Delaware County Community College. Her expertise is in the fields of personal injury matters, workers compensation claims, and criminal defense cases. She possesses skills in handling complex pre-litigation, trial issues, and preparing legal documents/pleadings. Kelly has also sat as trial assistant during criminal trials in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. In addition, she also helps plan and prepare the instruction of CLEs to other attorneys and law enforcement agencies.

Marissa Reagan-Garling
Marissa has been a dedicated paralegal with our Firm since 2021. She is a highly skilled pre-litigation paralegal responsible for handling Motor Vehicle Accidents and Workers Compensation cases. She proficiently handles each file by opening claims with insurance companies, gathering all required documentation, reviewing and handling all correspondence, discussing treatment plans with clients to ensure they are receiving the treatment they require, obtains all medical records to provide a demand packet for the Attorney’s review in preparation of settlement.
Additionally, managing the attorney’s schedule, drafting and submitting legal documents, organizing complex legal information, scheduling hearings, mediations and depositions, overall appropriately manages all pre-litigation production. Marissa takes great pride in her work ethic and feels that she has found a perfect fit at Aivazoglou & Mikropoulos. ​

Regina M. Santana
Gina started her career as a Paralegal in Media, PA, in 1998. She was known for her extensive knowledge in adoption procedures and received recognition by the Dean of Delaware County Community College for sharing her experience with the PLG 200 Family Law students and contributing to their educational and professional development. After taking leave from her career to raise her children, Gina joined our team at Aivazoglou & Mikropoulos in 2019.
She has 6 years of extensive experience in legal research, document drafting, and litigation support in personal injury and 27 years overall of general knowledge of law. She is known for her outgoing personality and her compassion for clients.

Marisol Rodriguez
Marisol Rodriguez is a bilingual receptionist at Aivazoglou and Mikropoulos. She joined the firm in April of 2024, having worked in customer service most of her life, so joining the A&M family was just the right fit. Coming to this country, not knowing the English language, pushed her to help every individual she came across. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in her community and making cocktails for private events as a bartender.
